The Ressia family’s company has been a family-run business for a hundred years now. Since the early 1900s, it has been involved in grape cultivation and wine production as well as other traditional agricultural activities. The turning point which revolutionized the whole company came about in 1997 when I decided to channel all my energy to focus on wine production: I chose to adopt environmental-friendly methods of cultivation (integrated pest management) and to limit production by planting new vines which would allow for products of a much higher quality. The management of our wine cellars was also modernized while safeguarding our traditions because I believe that new technologies should be carefully used in order not to alter the positive qualities of the raw materials used. I believe this is the only way for the finished product to give justice to the prestige, strength, fineness and elegance which characterize the grapes of this territory.
Today, thanks to all these efforts and the extraordinary passion we put into them, I have been able to come up with very high quality labels which will let you discover the distinct personalities I intended to give to each wine born in this company.

Fabrizio Ressia, Wine-maker with a passion

Located in Neive in one of the blessed areas of Piedmont’s wine-producing areas, the “Azienda Agricola Ressia” works exclusively with grapes from its own vineyards on the steep hillsides of the “Cru Canova” whose southern exposure makes it a wonderful area for the production of excellent wines. You will find all the simplicity of a small, family-run business managed by people who excel in their commitment and attention in the production of wine as we see it: excellent and complex wines characterized by a full and lingering fragrance which best portray the grapes from which they are made. Wines which are delicate, elegant and refined, to be savoured with the utmost of pleasure.
This is made possible by the care which goes to the cultivation of the vineyards, from season to season, through environmental-friendly methods and a lower grape production which benefit quality and wholesomeness. This objective, quality, goes hand in hand with genuineness and safety. This is why, in order to offer a product which we can fully guarantee, we have adopted the Green Planet tracking method since 2004. Those who taste our wine will be able to know each and single phase of its production, from the map numbers of our vineyards to the day-to-day weather conditions, from the ageing process in our wine cellars to bottling.
