A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY
Located in Neive, one of Italy’s most beautiful villages and, above all, a land of great wines, Azienda Agricola Ressia works exclusively with its own grapes, harvested from vineyards cultivated on the steep slopes of the “Cru Canova.” The south-facing exposure is ideal for producing high-quality wines. Made with the simplicity of a small family-run business—comprising people who work with dedication and care—the winery produces excellent wines with intense and persistent aromas that best showcase the qualities of the grapes used.
The wines are soft and enveloping, elegant and refined, perfect for genuine enjoyment.
OUR STORY
The Ressia family’s company has been passed down from generation to generation for almost a century. As early as the early 1900s, it was involved, alongside other agricultural activities, in the production of grapes and wines.
The true revolution that affected the entire company took place in 1997, when I decided to dedicate all my energy to winemaking: I chose to adopt environmentally friendly cultivation methods (integrated pest management) and to reduce productivity by planting new vineyards that would allow for even more refined yields.
The management of the winery was also modernized, while still preserving tradition, because I believe that new technologies should be used carefully so as not to distort the virtues of the raw materials used: only in this way can the final product highlight the prestige, strength, finesse, and elegance characteristic of the grapes from this land.
Today, thanks to all this commitment and a lot of passion, I have managed to produce high-quality labels, where you can find that touch of personality I wanted to give to every wine born in this company.
