The 2022 vintage has been a huge challenge.

Very little rain combined with sweltering temperatures made this year's weather very difficult.
However, our experience of previous hot years, such as 2012 and 2017, gave us the means to deal with 2022 in an optimal way.
We brought the harvest forward for all varieties, but especially for the Nebbiolo destined for Barbaresco. In all our family's history, this is the first time ever that we completed the harvest in September.
We had many drastic decisions to take but in the end we think we made the right choices.
